Selma Park Post & Beam Hybrid Description
This new 3-story post & beam and timber frame home was built after an older family home had been destroyed by fire.
This high-bank waterfront home takes in expansive views of the Salish Sea. The home’s front entry and oceanside decks are constructed of large natural logs of Western Red Cedar and timbers cut from Douglas Fir. These strong, heavy timbers create the frame and enhance the style of the home.
The design provides separate living spaces for two families. A library on the mezzanine overlooks the family room and kitchen on the main floor. The downstairs suite is airy and bright with high ceilings and a private deck and stairs to the sea.
This beautiful home demonstrates how contemporary finishes, such as marble, glass and stone are easily integrated into a traditional log and timber frame home.
